Yay fieldtrip! Oh wow, that was a big show, loads going on and so much to see! Thanks for giving us an overview. --- When felting on my lap (ao basically every time I'm felting) I always have a piece of wax tablecloth between my felting mat and my legs. One time I didn't and even through my thick foam mat I had fibres all over my trousers. It looked hilarious. Maybe with the wool buddy and other wool mats you don't have that problem, but just in case. (also those wax cloths are great for craft fairs in the cooler months, I have bigger ones I can basically wrap around myself and they help keep me warm. On the other hand, in summer you are almost melting under them... Nothings perfect ;) )

As always I loved your video. I think every crafter I know does multiple crafts. For me it is needle felting, spinning knitting and crochet. They all help keep me happy and sane!! I love seeing what others are doing, Thank you for showing us some of the other things you do. And I love seeing the dogs!

I was wondering if maybe instead of oil pastels if soft pastels would work better? They're a cheaper option compared to pan pastels and could be crushed and painted on with a brush. Has anyone tried this yet?

Afternoon, Im in Glenrothes Fife. Currently knitted baby blanket.

This is gorgeous. For the head, maybe if you think of it as a light bulb or triangle shape, that has helpes me when working with Greyhound head shapes when I draw them. Not sure if that would even translate into needle felting though. It did help my drawn greyhound head shapes progress, so thought it couldn't hurt ro share what worked for me.

Missed it 😮 had I been around I would have asked the group this question. I noticed the other day I needle felt in time with what ever music is playing . When I realised what I was doing I took more notice and realised that my current favourite is fleetwood Mac. Does anyone else do this?😅
